1. About this statement
This accessibility statement has been prepared in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility requirements for products and services (European Accessibility Act). The statement applies to our Irish webshop, which sells blinds and related accessories.
2. Brief description of the webshop
The webshop allows customers in Ireland to purchase blinds and accessories online. The solution is web-based and works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. All core functions – including product configuration, basket, and checkout – are designed with accessibility in mind.
3. How to use the webshop
- Browse the product categories or use the search field
- On the product page, select:
- Window type
- Window size
- Operation method
- Colour
- Side rail material
- Add the product to your basket
- Select quantity in the basket
- Complete your purchase with delivery and payment
- Receive an order confirmation by email
The entire process can be completed using a keyboard and screen reader.
4. Our approach to accessibility
- Keyboard navigation: the entire shop can be used without a mouse
- Screen reader support: semantic HTML structure
- Alternative text for all images
- Colour contrast meets WCAG 2.1 level AA
- Zoom up to 200% without functional loss
- Form fields with labels and clear error messages
5. Content not yet fully accessible
- PDF documents: Some installation guides are in PDF format and not fully accessible to screen readers. We are working to replace these with more accessible versions or provide alternative formats if needed.
- YouTube videos: Some embedded videos do not have captions and are hosted on platforms we do not fully control. We plan to replace them with video formats we can manage and make accessible.
- Privacy policy: The privacy policy is located on a subpage of our marketing site, which is not yet fully optimised for digital accessibility. The responsible team has been informed and improvements are underway.
6. Assessment basis
Accessibility has been assessed through internal manual testing, automated tools (axe DevTools®, Lighthouse), and sampling. There is no consolidated test report available.
